Sales Director
The Sales Account Manager will play a critical role in managing and growing relationships with both existing clients and new business prospects. Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain trusted partnerships with key clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Sales Growth: Proactively identify and close new business opportunities while also expanding existing accounts.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction, timely communication, and long-term retention.
- Product Expertise: Understand Brooklyn Tool’s product line and manufacturing processes in depth to communicate value and resolve client challenges.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and insights on market trends to the leadership team.
- Order Management: Oversee the sales cycle from initial quote to delivery, collaborating across teams to meet customer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and leadership to ensure seamless execution of customer orders.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to uncover new opportunities and potential risks.

- Base Salary: $60,000–$70,000 + commission

What We’re Looking For
Required
- 7–10 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager or equivalent B2B sales role
- Effective sales process discipline, from lead generation to closing
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and a client-first mindset
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field
- Experience with manufacturing processes and sales cycles in manufacturing, biotech, or other technical product environments.
